Famous Tattoo & Body Piercing is a leading Tattoo Shop in Ventura, Ca, with at least 10 years in business, successfully running a large shop with the largest team of artists in the county means constantly evolving to deliver the best quality of service for customers. As customers continue to expect more convenient ways to book appointments ahead of time, and check-in for appointments faster, the importance of online appointment booking and customer experience increases, while relying on traditional paper forms & filing makes record keeping, consolidating data and safeguarding the documents from physical damage a challenge.

Johnny, Owner of Famous Tattoo, was committed to relieving the administrative burden from shop managers. He saw the industry-standard practices as antiquated and knew they were ripe for change. For example, customer check-in involved managers printing customer forms to be filled out & signed by the customer, filing, and then later manually typing each customers email onto spreadsheets (where handwriting was legible fro accuracy). Managers then manually compiled spreadsheets to email customers individually. It was time-consuming and cumbersome.

The Solution

When Johnny was introduced to SantizoTek® he recognized how, “The Digital Kiosk check-in piece would solve a lot of small issues, while the Database storage piece would solve our core issue,” of safeguarding the records for 2 years as required. SantizoTek would enable the artists to easily track and manage appointments in real-time, and management to streamline marketing emails directly to customers with relevant content based on significantly more accurate data.

With SantizoTek®, Famous Tattoo found a solution that provides visibility into appointment data in order to improve insights and reporting. This visibility would then arm Famous Tattoo with quicker access to communicate coupons, changes to business hours and upcoming events to clients.

In addition, when the owners need to pull a specific customer up he can quickly keyword search the database for past client appointments or information (i.e. liability waivers & consent forms) and have it up in seconds.
